My results are nowhere close to where I wanted them to be, especially the first tournament. I have to say that my game was not ready to compete even though I thought so before I was leaving. Especially the first tournament at Cypresswood I did not feel very comfortable playing on a course and the results show that. I spent too much time hitting balls and very little time playing golf in January due to lack of time. As days went by and I got more in the mind set of playing on the course my scores improved. On the first day of the Kingwood tournament I shot even par which put me in sixth place only three back of the lead. I felt like I could do even better the following day but I was not able to score the following day, I made many unnecessary errors and my short game was not there to help me when I needed it. But after it was all set and done feel lot more comfortable with my game. These last two tournaments were more of a preparation for the regular season to see where I stand. I am more aware what I need to be working on so I can be competing for the top spots at the next tournament which will be in less than a month in Alexandria, LA.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
As I mentioned couple of weeks ago I went to play in two Winter Series tournaments.
